Lease Renewal Information

Your lease is expiring already?!

Time flies when you're busy with work and other things, before you know it, your lease will be expiring. There are three different scenarios that can happen when your lease is up.

Usually, we'll reach out about 2 months before your lease is set to expire with one of the following circumstances:

  1. We will be offering you lease renewal, sometimes accompanied by a rental increase.

  2. We will not be renewing your lease.

If we are not renewing your lease, you will be expected to vacate the property by 10:00AM on the lease expiration date. A 30 day written notice is required, but the further in advance, the better.

If we offer you a lease renewal, we will offer a renewal package which you can accept or decline.

Many times, lease renewal offers will be accompanied by a rent increase. Don't get mad! This is not the our way of trying to cash more money off of you! Due to local tax increases, utility bills, overhead costs, and overall market rate increases, rent increases are necessary to cover the difference. Usually, rental increases don't even cover the extra costs, so the landlord takes the hit for you!

You always have the option to decline the renewal offer. If you choose to decline, you will be expected to vacate the property by 10:00AM on the original lease expiration date. Make sure to remember to send at least a 30 day written notice to the management office if you're not looking to renew.
